The full-figure likeness medal in champi form, edition “Charoen Phon” is the first full-figure likeness medal in champi form of Wat Chulamanee, the city of the yaksha. The obverse bears the full-figure likeness of Phra Khru Sophit Wiriyaphon (Luang Pho Itthi, Bhaddacaro), abbot of Wat Chulamanee, enshrined within a champi-form frame.

Created by Wat Chulamanee, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province, in the Buddhist year 2562 · cast in many materials, every material bearing a serial number; the temple recorded the purpose, materials, production numbers, and reverence prices as follows.

Purpose of the Making

  1. To raise funds to buy land for the development of Wat Chulamanee, Samut Songkhram Province

  2. For the temple's public welfare works and other undertakings
