The Kanchong medal, Edition 4, of Wat Chulamanee, created for the 60th birthday of Phra Khru Sophitwiriyaphon (Luang Pho Itthi Bhaddacaro) in B.E. 2560, consecrated in a Buddhābhiṣeka lasting a full 3 years (B.E. 2558–2560), in two patterns.
The Kanchong Medal, Edition 4 was created by Wat Chulamanee, Bang Chang Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province, on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Phra Khru Sophitwiriyaphon (Luang Pho Itthi Bhaddacaro), abbot of Wat Chulamanee, in the Buddhist year B.E. 2560 (2017 CE). It is the fourth edition of the Kanchong medal the temple has made.
Appearance of the Medal
This edition is shield-shaped (sema/arm form). The front is adorned with the eight-direction yantra (the bagua, or eight-trigram diagram), a row of deities, and auspicious Chinese characters for the four directions. The back bears a yantra and numeral-yantra syllables encircling a Chinese character, with a lotus below and the words “Wat Chulamanee, Samut Songkhram.”
Consecration Rite
This edition underwent mental resolve and a Buddhābhiṣeka rite lasting a full 3 years, from B.E. 2558 to 2560.

Copper, large pattern (4 cm) — 20,000 medals · reverence price 200 baht
Copper, small pattern (2.3 cm) — 15,000 medals · reverence price 100 baht
