A medal of Tao Wessuwan of the Cātummahārājika heaven in the Phaya Tao Ruean (turtle) form, edition “Lap Phon Phun Thawi Ruai Thawon,” created by Phra Khru Sophit Wiriyaphon (Luang Pho Itthi Bhaddacaro), Wat Chulamanee, Samut Songkhram, B.E. 2563, to raise funds for a new monks’ dwelling — issued in a large mould (4.5 cm) and a small mould (3 cm), 28 material variants in all, with production numbers and reverence prices.

The Cātummahārājika medal in the Phaya Tao Ruean (turtle) form, edition “Lap Phon Phun Thawi Ruai Thawon” (“gain, fruit, increase, multiplied, lastingly rich”), B.E. 2563, was created by Phra Khru Sophit Wiriyaphon (Luang Pho Itthi Bhaddacaro) of Wat Chulamanee, Samut Songkhram. The medal is shaped as a turtle. Its obverse bears Tao Wessuwan standing and holding his club within an oval panel, ringed with yantra characters, accompanied by the Chinese characters 賜福天官 (天官賜福) and the Thai inscription “ท้าวเวสสุวรรณโณ” along the lower rim. The reverse bears a yantra laid over the turtle’s shell.

The temple states the purpose of the creation: to build a new monks’ dwelling (kuti) at Wat Chulamanee. The consecration rite (Buddhābhiṣeka) was held on 15 January 2020 at Wat Chulamanee, and the edition was released for reverence together on 25 January 2020. It was issued in two moulds — a large mould 4.5 cm high and a small mould 3 cm high — comprising 28 material variants, as announced by the temple below.

The consecration rite

This edition underwent its consecration rite (Buddhābhiṣeka) at Wat Chulamanee on 15 January 2020, before being released for reverence together on 25 January 2020.
