B.E. 2565

A sema-shaped medal bearing the Saeyit portrait, with an antique welded loop, edition “Charoen Phon Lap Ma Mai Khat” (“blessings abound, fortune never ceasing”), Luang Pho Itthi Bhaddacaro, Wat Chulamanee, B.E. 2565 — created to raise funds for the purchase of land offered to Wat Chulamanee · 13 items in all, with the final production figures announced by the temple on 13 April 2022 and the reverence prices.

The sema-shaped medal with the Saeyit portrait and antique welded loop, edition “Charoen Phon Lap Ma Mai Khat” (“blessings abound, fortune never ceasing”), B.E. 2565, bears the likeness of Luang Pho Itthi Bhaddacaro of Wat Chulamanee, Samut Songkhram. The temple describes the design as taking the sema (boundary-stone) shape, a form held to be timeless, and joining it to the temple’s celebrated “Saeyit” (birthday) medal, from which this edition came to be.

The obverse bears a half-length portrait within a sema frame edged with kanok foliage, surmounted by a panel inscribed with his ecclesiastical title “Phra Khru Sophit Wiriyaphon.” The suspension loop is of the antique welded type from which the edition takes its name. The reverse bears a yantra with sacred characters, the words “Charoen Phon Lap Ma Mai Khat” curving along the upper rim, and along the lower rim the name of Wat Chulamanee, Samut Songkhram, with the year 65.

Purpose of the creation: to raise funds for the purchase of land offered to Wat Chulamanee, Samut Songkhram.
