Tao Wessuwan Reverence Statue of the Cātummahārājika, Supreme Universal Sovereign, Edition “Charoen Suk 63” (Straight-Knee and Bent-Knee Dies, Retro of B.E. 2532), Luang Pho Itthi, Wat Chulamanee, B.E. 2563 (2020)

A Tao Wessuwan reverence statue of the Cātummahārājika, Supreme Universal Sovereign, edition “Charoen Suk 63” — made as a free-standing statue in two dies, the straight-knee die and the bent-knee die, cast in a retro style after the much-admired mould of B.E. 2532.

It was created by Luang Pho Itthi Bhaddacaro (Phra Khru Sophit Wiriyaphon), abbot of Wat Chulamanee, Bang Chang Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province, in B.E. 2563 · purpose: (1) to help cast a 2.50-metre Tao Wessuwan image to be enshrined at the Wihan of Krom Luang Chumphon, Nakhon Pathom; (2) to help build new monks’ quarters at Wat Chulamanee · the temple recorded the dies, materials, production numbers, and reverence prices as follows.

Straight-Knee Die, Height 2.7 cm

1. Pure gold (straight-knee die), approx. 12 g — made to order, not exceeding 119 pieces · reverence price 35,000 baht (a token gift of one full-formula gold-rich nawaloha statue with a gold crown-tip is included · with serial number)
