The champi-form medal of Tao Wessuwan of the Cātummahārājika heaven, “Lap Phon Phun Thawi Prap Sattru Phai” (“gain and fruit increased and multiplied, foes subdued”), edition “Prawattisat Tamruat” (Police History), B.E. 2565, is a sacred object that Luang Pho Itthi Bhaddacaro of Wat Chulamanee, Samut Songkhram, created and offered to Provincial Police Region 7.

The obverse bears Tao Wessuwan standing and holding his club within a champi-shaped frame, ringed with yantra characters, with the inscription “Tao Wessuwan Cātummahārājika” at the base. The reverse bears a yantra with sacred characters, the auspicious words “Lap Phon Phun Thawi Prap Sattru Phai” along the upper rim, and along the lower rim the inscription “Edition Prawattisat Tamruat, B.E. 2565, Region 7.”

Purpose of the creation

The temple and Provincial Police Region 7 state two purposes.

To provide scholarships for the children of police officers who died in the line of duty, and scholarships for children with good academic records
To improve and develop the police under the responsibility of Provincial Police Region 7, so as to increase their capability and effectiveness in preventing and suppressing crime
