The Tao Wessuwan medal, the “Rap Khwan Sit” (welcoming the disciples) large pattern, 4 centimetres tall, of Wat Chulamanee, made in the Buddhist year B.E. 2562, in several materials as announced by the temple.

The Tao Wessuwan Medal, “Rap Khwan Sit” Large Pattern was created by Wat Chulamanee, Bang Chang Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province, in the Buddhist year B.E. 2562 (2019 CE), under the name “Rap Khwan Sit” (“welcoming the disciples”), as an auspicious token to bestow upon the community of disciples. It portrays Tao Wessuwan, the divine lord of wealth and the guardian deity of Wat Chulamanee.

Appearance of the Medal

This edition is the “large pattern,” 4 centimetres tall. The front bears a full standing figure of Tao Wessuwan holding his club (mace), encircled by yantra syllables, with the words “Tao Wessuwan” below. The back bears a yantra and sacred syllables, together with the name of Wat Chulamanee and the Buddhist year B.E. 2562.
