Wat Chulamanee Awards 100 Scholarships and Donates 50 Relief Bags for Flood Victims

Phra Samut Wachirasophon, abbot of Wat Chulamanee, awarded 100 welfare scholarships to schoolchildren and handed over 50 relief bags to the Samut Songkhram social development office to help vulnerable people affected by the floods.

On 30 September 2026 (B.E. 2569), at the Phra Phuttha Chinnarat Hall of Wat Chulamanee, Phra Samut Wachirasophon, Adviser to the Region 15 Ecclesiastical Council and Abbot of Wat Chulamanee, presided over the following:

  • Awarding welfare scholarships to students of schools under the Samut Songkhram Primary Educational Service Area Office — 100 scholarships of 1,000 baht each

  • Handing over 50 relief bags to the Samut Songkhram Provincial Office of Social Development and Human Security, to help vulnerable people affected by the floods in Samut Songkhram Province

In its activity bulletin of 30 September 2026, the Samut Songkhram Provincial Office of Social Development and Human Security reported that Ms. Natthita Phatcharakunkhemsiri, the Provincial Social Development and Human Security Officer, assigned office staff to receive 50 sets of household supplies from Phra Samut Wachirasophon (Somphot Bhaddacaro), abbot of Wat Chulamanee, to be given to vulnerable groups affected by the floods in Samut Songkhram Province.
