The propitiation rite before Luang Pho Ban Laem for the making of the medal bearing the image of Luang Pho Ban Laem with Tao Wessuwan Chatumaharachika on the reverse of Wat Chulamanee was performed on Thursday 11 March B.E. 2564 (2021) at Wat Phet Samut Worawihan (Wat Ban Laem), Samut Songkhram Province, where the image of Luang Pho Ban Laem is enshrined.
This set of photographs opens with a close record of the image of Luang Pho Ban Laem, the standing Buddha holding an alms bowl, from the front, the side and the rear, and continues with the open-air ceremonial ground where a standing Buddha holding an alms bowl was enshrined beside an image of Tao Wessuwan together with a full set of offerings, the brahmin reciting the invocation, the senior monks lighting the incense and candles and sprinkling holy water, and the rite of the assembled monks within the ubosot.
