A photo record of the royal Kathina (phra kathin phra ratchathan) at Wat Chulamanee for the year B.E. 2563 — HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously bestowed the royal Kathina robes upon Siam City Service Co., Ltd. to be presented at Wat Chulamanee on Sunday 18 October B.E. 2563 (2020).

HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously bestowed the royal Kathina robes upon Siam City Service Co., Ltd. to be presented at Wat Chulamanee, Bang Chang Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province, on Sunday 18 October B.E. 2563 (2020).

This set of photographs begins with the rites of the preceding afternoon — the procession bearing the royal Kathina robes, with the ceremonial umbrella and the floral pedestal trays, into the ubosot, and the chanting of the blessings in the evening — and continues to the day of the offering itself, with the guests in full dress white uniform and the disciples filling the marble ubosot, the apalokana-kathina (the Sangha's formal assignment of the robe) performed by the monks around the triple robe upon its tiered ceremonial tray, the presentation of the accompanying Kathina offerings and the money trees by the hosts, and the free-food stalls kept open throughout the ceremony.
