The propitiation rite and the presentation of the sema medallion to those who took part in the merit-making were held on Friday 28 October B.E. 2565 (2022) at Wat Chulamanee, Bang Chang Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province.
The medallion presented that day is named on the framed poster displayed at the event as “The sema medallion with the birthday-anniversary obverse and the antique welded loop, Luang Pho Itthi, Wat Chulamanee — sema ‘Charoen Phon, Lap Ma Mai Khat’ (Blessings Increase, Gain Never Ceases)”.
This set records the offerings, bai sri and propitiation trays set out in hundreds of sets across the ground, participants dressed in white filling the pavilion, monks sprinkling lustral water, a khon masked performance offered to the deities, and the queues of donors waiting to receive their medallions throughout the day.
