The gold-pouring and Buddha-image casting ceremony of Wat Chulamanee was held on Sunday 29 March B.E. 2558 (2015) at Wat Chulamanee, Bang Chang Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province.
This set of photographs records the preparation of the furnace and the consecrated alloy plates on the eve of the ceremony, the propitiation rite in the ritual pavilion, the monks chanting the blessings, the lay devotees holding the sacred thread, and the atmosphere of the free-food kitchens within the fair.
