A photo record of the propitiation and consecration (Buddhābhiṣeka) of the champi-form medal Pathomphrom Chatumaharachika, first edition, “Mi Laeo Mai Chon” (Having This, Never Poor), by Luang Pho Itthi Bhaddacaro of Wat Chulamanee — Monday 26 July B.E. 2564 (2021).
The propitiation and consecration of the champi-form medal Pathomphrom Chatumaharachika, first edition, “Mi Laeo Mai Chon” of Luang Pho Itthi Bhaddacaro, Wat Chulamanee, was performed on Monday 26 July B.E. 2564 (2021) at Wat Chulamanee, Bang Chang Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province.
This set of photographs records the preparation of the ceremonial ground within the ubosot and the setting of the panels of framed amulet plaques linked by the sacred thread, the open-air propitiation before the ubosot with the brahmin reciting the invocation, the lighting of the victory candle and the senior masters seated in meditation to empower the amulets, and on to the striking of the edition marks upon the medals within the rite and the sprinkling of holy water over the amulets.
Besides the principal edition, amulets of other editions were brought into the same occasion, their names appearing on the plaques within the ceremonial ground, among them the medal of Luang Pho Sothon with Tao Wessuwan Chatumaharachika on the reverse, “Traimat 64.”
