Amulet Consecration — Tao Wessuwan “Chok Setthi Phan Lan” Edition, Wat Chulamanee, B.E. 2565

Date
4 February 2022

A photo record of an amulet consecration (Buddhābhiṣeka) at which images of Tao Wessuwan, a replica of Phra Phuttha Sothon, and the Tao Wessuwan “Chok Setthi Phan Lan” (Fortune of the Billionaire) edition of Wat Thai Hat were placed in the rite — Friday 4 February B.E. 2565 (2022).

The amulet consecration (Buddhābhiṣeka) was held on Friday 4 February B.E. 2565 (2022) at Wat Chulamanee, Bang Chang Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province.

This set records the ritual enclosure with hundreds of Tao Wessuwan images in blackened and brass finishes set out in rows, a gilded replica of Phra Phuttha Sothon flanked by its two chief disciples, tables of offerings and bai sri, senior monks seated in meditation to empower the objects, and trays of medallions and lockets brought into the rite.

Several editions were consecrated that day, named on the framed posters displayed in the enclosure — among them Tao Wessuwan “Chok Setthi Phan Lan” of Wat Thai Hat, stated there to have passed three consecration sessions and to have been created under the benevolence of Luang Pho Phat and Luang Pho Itthi, and the fine amulet “Prakham Thon”.
