The consecration of the “Charoen Phon, Setthi Khelang Nakhon” medallion was held on Tuesday 9 August B.E. 2565 (2022) at Wat Chulamanee, Bang Chang Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province.
The framed poster displayed in the ritual enclosure reads: “Created in the year B.E. 2565 by Luang Pho Itthi Bhaddacaro, Wat Chulamanee, as an offering to Wat Si Lom, Mueang Lampang District, Lampang Province — Charoen Phon, Setthi Khelang Nakhon, Gain • Fruit • Abundance, under the benevolence of Luang Pho Itthi Bhaddacaro, Wat Chulamanee, Bang Chang Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province.”
This set records the courtyard of Tao Wessuwan images before the ubosot where visitors offered incense before entering the rite, the ritual enclosure in the pavilion with blackened deity images and Buddha images set out along its length, senior monks seated in meditation to empower the objects, the sprinkling of lustral water, and the free-food stalls set up by the faithful for those attending.
