The consecration rite, chanting to the nine planetary deities and Phan Yak chanting for strengthening destiny and merit was held on Sunday 21 December B.E. 2568 (2025) at Wat Chulamanee, Bang Chang Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province; the name of the rite appears on the commemorative shirts worn by those attending, seen in these photographs.
This set records the ritual enclosure with its Buddha images and its ranks of images of Tao Wessuwan filling the space, the banana and sugar-cane stems and the sacred cord run throughout, the tall planetary candles in the full range of colours of the nine planetary deities set before the ranks of images, the brahmin reciting the invocation, the monks chanting blessings, and the senior monks taking their seats to meditate and empower the objects one by one through the night.
The thousands attending sat along long tables wearing white head-cords joined by the sacred cord, each with a bowl of candles in the colours of the nine planetary deities set before them.
According to the framed displays set within the ritual enclosure, the object consecrated on this occasion was the “Maha Phokkhasap takrut, filled with the sacred powder of the Buddha's great fortune”, of B.E. 2569, by Phra Samut Wachirasophon Vi. (Luang Pho Itthi Bhaddacaro) of Wat Chulamanee:

in copper, 1.5 inches — 999 pieces made, offering 199 baht.
