The Day of Great Fortune — An Auspicious Time to Honour Tao Wessuwan

Ruam Phalang Dao Yai — the Day of Great Fortune, Saturday 12 September B.E. 2569 (2026), from one o'clock in the afternoon onwards, at Wat Chulamanee, Samut Songkhram Province.

It is an auspicious time to ask blessings of Tao Wessuwan, the king of great wealth, in the words printed on the temple's poster: “opening wealth, closing obstacles, strengthening merit, for abundance and prosperity without end.”

The temple's own notice for the occasion describes it as an offering of merit to the first Tao Wessuwan image of Wat Chulamanee.

As set out on the poster, five great stars stand in auspicious positions on this day at once.

• Jupiter — in maha ut (exaltation)

This is an auspicious time for paying homage to Tao Wessuwan. It may be done at home or anywhere else; there is no need to travel to the temple.

Offering rice at Wat Chulamanee

For those coming to the temple, a point has been set up to receive rice for the offering, as set out on the temple's notice.
