The solo empowerment rite performed by Luang Pho Phra Khru Sophitwiriyaphon (Itthi Bhaddacaro), abbot of Wat Chulamanee, was held on Friday 29 July B.E. 2559 (2016) at Wat Chulamanee, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province — the day before the great consecration marking his 60th year.
This set of photographs records the Buddha images and amulets arrayed for the rite within the pavilion, the bowls of holy water bound with the sacred thread, and the monks who joined in chanting the blessings.
