A photo record of the propitiation rite (buang suang) marking 36 years since the enshrinement of Thewasuwan Phrommasutithep and Tao Wessuwan Thepphabut at Wat Chulamanee — Tuesday 15 July B.E. 2568 (2025).

The propitiation rite marking 36 years since the enshrinement of Thewasuwan Phrommasutithep and Tao Wessuwan Thepphabut was held on Tuesday 15 July B.E. 2568 (2025) at Wat Chulamanee, Bang Chang Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province — the annual occasion the temple has kept on 15 July each year.

This set records the several hundred sets of offerings that those attending laid out across the ground before the ubosot — rice, drinking water, bananas, coconuts, pineapples, auspicious fruits and banana-leaf bai si — together with the brahmin and the monks officiating at the offering table, the lighting of incense and candles, the scattering of rose petals and the sprinkling of lustral water along the length of the tables, and the crowds seated in añjali filling the grounds.

During the ceremony garlands were hung and lustral water poured over the bronze image of Tao Wessuwan standing enshrined in the middle of the ground, whose base bears the inscription “พิธีเททอง ๑๕ มิถุนายน พ.ศ.๒๕๖๘” (metal-pouring rite, 15 June B.E. 2568).
