A photo record of the Noppakhro rite for the nine planetary deities together with an amulet consecration at Wat Chulamanee — Monday 26 December B.E. 2565 (2022) — with thousands of participants filling the ritual ground in the evening.
The Noppakhro rite for the nine planetary deities together with an amulet consecration of Wat Chulamanee was held on Monday 26 December B.E. 2565 (2022) at Wat Chulamanee, Bang Chang Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province.
This set records the great ritual enclosure with hundreds of deity images and Buddha images set out on long tables along the pavilion, senior monks seated individually in meditation to empower the objects, Mahāyāna monks joining the rite, the sprinkling of lustral water and the scattering of flower petals, and the aerial views at nightfall showing thousands of participants seated across the ground.
The editions consecrated on this occasion are named on the framed posters displayed in the enclosure, among them “Rian Chatu Thewa Prasit, Lap Anuson, Setthi Phlik Duang”, “Rap Khwan Sit” and “Thi Raluek Khrang Nueng Rao Khoei Phop Kan”.
