The metal-pouring ceremony for the casting of seven Tao Wessuwan images of Wat Chulamanee was held on Saturday 31 August B.E. 2562 (2019) at Wat Chulamanee, Bang Chang Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province.
This set of photographs records the preparation of the casting moulds and the building of the furnaces in the ceremonial ground, the yantra plates and sacred alloy offered by the faithful, the chanting of the blessings within the ceremonial ground, and finally the pouring of the molten metal, amid the assembled Sangha and the great many people who came to join the ceremony.
