The grand consecration and deva consecration of the “Ratanamongkhon San Lak Mueang” amulets, made to commemorate the 121st anniversary of Samut Songkhram Province, was held on Friday 6 May B.E. 2565 (2022) at the City Pillar Shrine (San Lak Mueang) of Samut Songkhram Province.
This set records the ritual enclosure before the City Pillar Shrine building, hundreds of blackened replicas of the city pillar deity set out in rows on the tables, brahmin priests performing the propitiation rite, monks chanting blessings and seated in meditation to empower the objects, and the many government officials and members of the public in formal dress who came to join the ceremony.
