10.00 a.m. — head-shaving of the ordinands
2.00 p.m. — the ordination rite
This set records the head-shaving of the ordinands; the ordinands in white carrying lotus flowers, incense and candles; relatives bearing trays with the triple robe, alms bowl and monastic requisites; the procession of the ordinands with a marching band and long drums circumambulating the marble ubosot; the ordination inside the ubosot; and the newly ordained monks in their saffron robes receiving offerings from the laity.
