The Wai Khru ceremony honoring the past masters of Wat Chulamanee, for the year B.E. 2560, was held on Thursday 10 August B.E. 2560 (2017) at Wat Chulamanee, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province.
This set of photographs records the laying out of the offerings and the propitiation rite, the Sangha chanting the blessings, the officiants robed in white performing the khrop khru — setting the ceremonial crown and the master's mask upon each disciple's head — and anointing them, together with the atmosphere of the free-food pavilions and of the participants dressed in white filling the hall.
